Description
This course covers the core concepts of physical chemistry, and is the first semester in a two semester sequence. The lecture covers the physical properties and thermodynamics of compounds, mixtures, and reactions. The laboratory covers common physical chemistry lab techniques and methods of analysis. Upon completion of this course students will be able to analyze and characterize the physical chemical properties of compounds, mixtures, and reactions. Prerequisite: CHM 341 with a grade of C or better and MATH 260 or higher with a grade of C or better.
