Description

This course provides students with an in-depth view of rasterized graphics and the compositing techniques needed to enhance and manipulate digital images. This course focuses on the fundamentals of design balancing visual and verbal communication. Students will be able to apply digital imaging tools, solve visual design problems, manipulate and create photos with cohesive and consistent qualities in a visual narrative, and debate ethical usage of copyright images. Course structure uses a project-based approach to develop visual problem-solving skills, creative and critical thinking, and strategic application of tools in producing solutions.
