Description
This course will allow students to develop additional skills in Digital Arts. Students will create advanced electronic and print projects using industry standard software. Emphasis is placed on effective design by capturing attention, controlling eye movement, conveying information, and evoking emotion through the design principles and the examination of the history of graphic design. Students will create effective graphic design solutions using images, text and space for visual communication, design portfolio quality projects for potential clients from design concepts for electronic and printing processes. Projects will range from single to multiple pages, black and white to color, and 2-dimensional to 3-dimensional designs. Prerequisite: DART 201.
