Description

This is a graphic art course furthering the application of art theory, skills and techniques including those specifically relevant to drawing, painting, composition, and application of design. The course focuses on the experimental and creative use in integrating traditional and electronic media in image making. Students will be able to apply visual qualities for image making, demonstrate proficiency and craftsmanship in handling tools, integrate computer applications for post-print production techniques, develop communication ideas using non-traditional production of printed images, examine historical and contemporary role of image making and digital prints, and explore the possibilities of image making. Prerequisite: DART201.
