Description

This course provides advanced development of digital imaging skills in creating illustrations and digital paintings and compositing photographs together using industry-standard applications, like Adobe Photoshop. Students will be able to employ appropriate terminology in the directing, producing, and reviewing of digital imaging techniques and works, create and use appropriate media formats and resolution levels based on output needs, select and apply advanced methods in producing digital images, employ digital painting techniques to create, repair, and enhance digital imagery, dissect an existing composition to utilize some of its elements in a new project or work, and be able to dispute ethical copyright issues involved in image manipulation. Prerequisite: DART 250.
