Description

This course introduces the principles of visual identity in the Digital Art field. Emphasis is on the creation and development of visual elements for brands, organizations, or individuals while applying logo design, typography, color theory, brand guidelines, and visual storytelling. Students will develop corporate identities, create symbols, brand products, and design environmental signage. They will learn to select and use fonts that align with the brand's personality, acknowledge the impact of colors on perception, and create comprehensive guides to ensure consistent use of visual elements across various platforms. The course combines theoretical knowledge with client-based projects, allowing students to build a portfolio that showcases their skills in identity design. Prerequisite: DART 201
