Description
This seminar will explore the life and theology of Karl Barth, among the most important Protestant theologians of the 20th century, through selected readings in Barth’s theological corpus and and key secondary sources. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the main outlines of Barth’s mature theology and be able to analyze and apply this theology in the contemporary church. Prerequisite: HT 500, or HT502 or equivalent or permission of the instructor.
