Description
This course is the second in the calculus sequence in which students will now use the integral to study the behavior of continuous functions and processes. Topics include antiderivatives, definite integrals, techniques of integration, and applications of integration to problems in the natural sciences, social sciences, business, and economics. Upon completion, students will be able to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the definite integral via Riemann sums and compute definite and indefinite integrals using a variety of techniques. Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in UDMA 250, or departmental approval
