Description
This course provides students with a continuation of the concepts of harmony, melody, and form. Non-chord tones, seventh chords, and an introduction to chromatic harmony are presented. Upon completion of this course, students will acquire an expanded understanding of harmony in music, recognize theoretical principles and their application, have an enhanced comprehension and appreciation of music, and will continue to develop skills in critical and analytical thinking. Co-Requisite MUSC 127L. Pre-requisite MUSC 126 and 126L or instructor approval.
