Description
This is a co-requisite course with MUSC 226 in which students develop music listening skills through aural and dictation exercises. Both harmonic and melodic concepts are presented. Upon completion of this course students will be able to sight sing tonal melodies with chromatic inflections using solfege, notate rhythmic patterns by dictation, and notate four-part chorales by dictation. Co-Requisite MUSC 226. Pre-Requisite MUSC 127 and 127L or instructor approval.
