Description
A study of music and its place in Western civilization from the Classic through early Romantic eras (1750-1880). Upon completion, students will be able to
identify music styles and forms, important Western masterworks and composers, and cultural influences on artistic development in these eras. Prerequisites: MUSC 205, 127 and 127L or instructor approval.
