This course introduces Christianity as a diverse, historic, and living religious tradition. Students will engage the sacred Scriptures, histories, beliefs, and practices of the Christian faith, including areas of internal unity, diversity, controversy, and change. By the end of the course, students will be able to identify and interpret the ways that Christian conviction motivates people of faith to work for peace, justice, and the common good. Designed for students seeking foundational learning, this course presumes no prior knowledge or experience.
