Description

Journeys in Nature is an interdisciplinary approach focusing on conservation and environmental education with an emphasis on wildlife. The student will use the natural environment to increase their understanding of our complex environment, to stimulate critical and creative thinking, to develop the ability to make informed decisions on environmental issues, and to instill the confidence to take responsible action on behalf of the environment. This course will enable students who will be working in formal and informal educational settings to plan and implement environmental curriculum.
