Description
Students in this course study the development and implementation of appropriate environments and curricula for young children. At the end of this course, students will be prepared to utilize developmentally appropriate practices in a context of culturally sensitive care. The focus of this course is on understanding children's developmental stages and the creation of appropriate activities, interactions, and environments in the following areas: play, dramatic play, art, literature/story-telling, music/movement, and physical motor play. Co-requisite: EDU 233
