Description
A course designed to prepare students in professional nursing competencies of clinical judgement, communication, person-centered care, evidence-based practice, teamwork and collaboration, quality improvement, and informatics necessary to provide quality care to childbearing, child-rearing, and pediatric populations. Students will gain knowledge of conditions affecting childbearing, child-rearing and pediatric populations with a focus on nursing responsibilities for care within the interprofessional team. Prerequisites: Prerequisites: NRS 303, NRS 305/305P, NRS 310, and NRS 311. Co-requisite: NRS 308P
