Description
A study of morphology, cell biology, genetics, physiology, diversity, and ecology of prokaryotic microorganisms. Viruses, and some eukaryotic microorganisms will be introduced. Selected topics on pathogenesis, industrial and environmental microbiology, and immunology will also be included. Laboratory exercises suitable for a general microbiology course will be covered.
