Description
This course covers the core concepts of general chemistry, and is the first semester of a two semester sequence. Lecture covers atoms, molecular theory, the behavior of substances, and chemical reactions. The laboratory covers common general chemistry lab techniques and methods of analysis. Upon completion of this course students will be able to analyze and characterize the chemistry of substances. Prerequisite: MATH 112 or higher with a grade of C or better.
