Description
This course covers the core concepts of organic chemistry, and is the second semester of a two semester sequence. The lecture covers the physical and chemical properties of aromatics, carbonyls, alcohols, and ethers. The laboratory covers common organic lab techniques and methods of analysis. Upon completion of this course students will be able to analyze and characterize aromatic, carbonyl, alcohol, and ether compounds. Prerequisite: CHM 221 with a grade of C or better.
