Description

This course provides students with an introduction to the world of nonprofit operations. Students will begin by identifying the laws and standards applicable to non-profit operation. They will also analyze non-profit management methods, and evaluate those practices based on the major issues and concerns facing non-profit organizations in the present day. Upon successful completion of the course, students will then apply their knowledge gained in non-profit operations to create a business plan for a non-profit organization. Prerequisites: COM101 and COM155
