Description
The objective of this course is to prepare students for basic empirical work in economics. In particular, topics will include basic data analysis, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to use actual economic data to test economic theories. Prerequisites: MATH 230 Introduction to Statistics, ECON 220 Introductory Mathematics for Economists and Actuarial Scientists.
