Description

This course focuses on the developmental, academic, social, career and functional characteristics of students with mild and moderate disabilities including mental, learning, and behavioral disorders, as well as Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity disorders. Historical, etiological and legal perspectives are examined. Emphasis includes current trends in programming, related services and levels of support as they relate to the multi-disciplinary team. Prerequisite: EDU 202. (Offered Spring)
