Description
Students in this course study the development and implementation of appropriate environments and curricula for young children. Students are prepared to utilize developmentally appropriate practices in a context of culturally sensitive care. The focus of this course is on understanding children's developmental stages and developing appropriate activities, interactions, and environments in the following areas: cognition, emergent literacy, math, science, technology, and social studies in an anti-biased curriculum. The course is a continuation of Curriculum and Activities I. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education. Co-requisite: EDU 334
