Description
Develops awareness of the diverse characteristics of the middle school learners and the environment that should exist to respond to their needs. Examines the curriculum organization patterns, instructional strategies used in middle schools. Integrates classroom instruction with a 40 hour school-based experience in a middle school. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education. (Offered Fall)
