Description
This course is designed to evaluate prior aeronautical training for students entering the University of Dubuque with an existing FAA certificate or rating. The course verifies that incoming pilots meet all knowledge, skill, and proficiency expectations associated with the FAA Airman Certification Standards. Assessment will include review of logbook entries, aircraft experience, prior training documentation, oral evaluation, and a flight proficiency check conducted by authorized instructors. Upon successful completion, students will demonstrate that their prior training aligns with UD’s and FAA’s requirements, and will receive appropriate credit or placement within the flight training sequence.
