Description
This course focuses on developing a clear understanding of expository preaching: what it is; what distinguishes it from other homiletical forms; what
its role has been in the history of proclamation and in connection with periods of reformation, revitalization, and renewal; how to prepare and deliver
expository sermons; and how to leverage the expository method in the development of preaching plans with the aim of spiritual growth,
congregational nurture, evangelism, and missions.
