Description
This course provides students with an overview of music reading skills and notation practices. It introduces the concepts of harmony, melody, and form. Upon completion of this course, students will understand basic harmony in music, recognize theoretical principles and their application, have an enhanced comprehension and appreciation of music, and will develop skills in critical and analytical thinking. Co-requisite: MUSC 126L: Aural Skills Lab I or instructor approval.
