Description
This is a co-requisite course with MUSC 227 in which students develop music listening skills through aural and dictation exercises. Both harmonic and melodic concepts are presented. Upon completion of this course students will be able to identify and notate post-tonal harmony, sight-read independent lines and perform polyrhythms. Co-Requisite MUSC 227. Pre-Requisite MUSC 226 and 226L.
