Statistical knowledge helps us utilize the proper methods to collect data, employ the correct analyses, and present results. Statistics is a vital process, as we make discoveries in science, finalize our decisions, and pose predictions. This course will present appropriate methods for both collecting and analyzing data, to produce valid findings and sound conclusions. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply measures of central tendency, variability, percentiles, correlation, and probability distributions. As well as summarize a dataset, identify relationships between different types of variables, and use probabilities for the purpose of distribution.
